ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø’s annual Teaching Excellence Awards recognize faculty and instructors who have made significant contributions to teaching and learning.

Here is a glimpse into the ongoing endeavors, memories and takeaways from ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø in 2023.

Dean Erica Walker and the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø community want to emphasize U of T's commitment to inclusion, excellence, diversity, and access. ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø stands with the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and remains steadfast in our commitment to building safe and welcoming learning environments for all. 

In July 2023, Rijeka, Croatia, hosted a week-long conference that brought together over 50 international scholars, educators, activists, and practitioners to share insights on preventing sexual and gender-based violence. Led by ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø professor Miglena Todorova and doctoral student Nana Gulic, the event aimed to transcend national borders.

After an extensive search, ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø is pleased to welcome two exceptional new colleagues to join our faculty, Dr. Beyhan Farhadi and Dr. Shozab Raza.

An ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø graduate of the class of 2022, Dr. Rebecca Beaulne-Stuebing receives recognition for her doctoral research on Indigenous grief medicines.
