You enjoyed that that's inner peace by beautiful chorus, and I really like their sort of beautifully. usually. 12:33:53 Just say one word over and over and over but it's quite meditative and peaceful. 12:33:57 I'm welcome back again and I know we don't have the big screens for today, so i'll just kind of talk you through what's on it. 12:34:03 Last week we witnessed the pointers and messengers of lacking and flawed. 12:34:09 I I just appeared beside me. and i'm just wondering Did anyone witness or notice how these might have appeared during the week or weekend? 12:34:16 I know there's a lot of new people here. as well and yeah, maybe just take a note for yourself. 12:34:22 How those might appear in our practice today and today, we're going to be working with both pairs perfect and whole as well as lacking in flawed. And what's been arising for me lately is it kind of mirrors what's 12:34:34 going on with Nature. So it's slowing down everything going into dormancy. 12:34:40 So I was explained to all of you how i've been starting to slow down and feeling kind of achy like a sore throat. 12:34:47 Totally covid free, but feeling cold, from the inside out and just remembering that it's a transitional season right now that there's also other illnesses still around, too. but I was also reminded about the 4 agreements so that's 12:35:01 what that slide is about by Don Miguel. Ruth. 12:35:05 Has anybody familiar with that? So the fourth agreement always to do your best. 12:35:10 So not worrying about whether our best now the same, or better than, or less than our best. 12:35:17 Yesterday, or even last year, or even a moment ago, so learning that our best, our students best our peers best at Professor's best or loved ones. fast. 12:35:31 It changes moment to moment. so all depending on conditions and factors within and around us, that may or may not be in our control. 12:35:40 So he says, Do what you can with what you have. from where you are. 12:35:46 You can ask nothing more of yourself or of others really. So the invitation today was to be with the messengers of blacking and flawed perfect and whole. 12:35:56 This is the degree that feels possible for you today. i'm going to stop sharing here, and then i'll give you a moment hopefully at the end. 12:36:05 If you want to share anything, and maybe just to get up and stretch like we have been last time. 12:36:10 Okay, So why don't you just start to settle in whatever that looks like. 12:36:14 If you need to take off any layers or put on any layers, if moving feels more right for you today, sitting standing, I'm. 12:36:25 Feeling free to adjust your body as you need to. throughout the practice 12:36:33 So we're going to take a moment here to feel into the third pair of messengers lacking and flawed perfect and whole, or any other words that have been resonating for you. 12:36:46 Perhaps okay, or enough. 12:36:59 Just selling into your seat. The space is surrounding you. 12:37:04 Eyes opened or closed, just leaving any residue of the day aside. 12:37:11 For now 12:37:17 Might even visualize, placing it in a drawer, gently laying it down 12:37:29 Recognizing that you can come back to it later, perhaps feeling refreshed and ready 12:37:43 At your own pace, might choose, start to open your senses 12:37:51 Completely trusting the surfaces you're resting on 12:38:00 Letting go 12:38:07 Welcome Caress A bear on the Skin 12:38:15 Any sounds inside or outside of the room. 12:38:23 Without attaching or detaching 12:38:31 The body, feeling free to make any adjustments at all, to bring calm and ease. 12:38:40 Well being throughout the body, mind. 12:38:48 During I rest my 2 welcome, every messenger, every pointer. 12:38:57 Nothing turned away 12:39:06 Feel into the hard space heartfelt desire Why, in the world your heart's mission that might be bringing you to this practice 12:39:23 Feeling it with the whole body in mind. 12:39:36 As you're ready. just letting it go notice I think how it may appear again during this practice on daily life 12:39:53 Call an intention 12:39:57 Why, for this moment or practice one that supports you in fulfilling your heartfelt desire 12:40:09 Perhaps it just be 12:40:16 In every moment of life. 12:40:22 And the recognition of one perceptions arise being enough 12:40:32 Lacking, and flawed 12:40:39 Perfect and whole 12:40:49 Experience in a resource 12:40:55 I safe haven, refuge. 12:41:06 One that helps you feel secure safe and at ease at a moment's notice 12:41:26 Enlivening it with your 5 senses. 12:41:32 Even if sounds come into your perception, just noticing, without needing to attach or detach, arising, expanding, dissipating on their own 12:41:55 Coming to that inner resource, maybe a place in nature walking through a forest 12:42:07 Earthy tones of red they're brown yellow 12:42:19 Scent of pine and wet leaves. 12:42:29 Cool air on the skin 12:42:39 Sunlight beaming through the branches 12:42:45 Or perhaps you're in a resources and imagined place 12:42:52 Sitting on a cloud, weightless, floating. 12:43:06 Refreshing breeze 12:43:13 Vibrant sunshine. 12:43:19 Or memory. 12:43:24 Being held or holding a loved one 12:43:33 Familiar scent. 12:43:40 Gentle heartbeat. 12:43:46 Warmth. 12:43:51 Perhaps, then, a resource is accompanied by words like love 12:44:00 Inner peace. 12:44:05 And a felt sense 12:44:12 May be emanating from the heart 12:44:18 Relaxation of the jaw 12:44:24 Deep breath in the entire body 12:44:33 Just recognizing an affirming, you can return to your inner resource at any time in daily life. 12:44:48 And during this Irish practice 12:44:56 Whenever you feel the need for being secure, safe. 12:45:06 At ease. 12:45:11 Inviting my words to be your words, allowing attention to float through the body without the need to think 12:45:26 John Mouth. 12:45:33 Nose. 12:45:39 Ears. 12:45:45 Eyes and forehead. 12:45:53 Arms, palms, and fingers. 12:46:04 Torso and pelvis 12:46:14 If any sounds are coming into perception, just noticing 12:46:20 Without needing to analyze or judge. 12:46:30 Just notice how they dissipate in their own time back to where they came from. 12:46:42 And as you're ready bringing attention to the legs feet and toes. 12:46:48 Without needing to shift or soften anything, everything perfect, just as it is 12:47:03 Just noticing that anything comes into your perception how it expands and dissipates all in its own time. 12:47:15 Just trusting your direct experience, as you sense into the entire unified body 12:47:32 Sensing all that you're now aware of changing sensations emerged, expand, float away, revealing unchanging awareness 12:47:49 Attention resting on the body, breathing itself 12:47:58 Fullness to the bodies. The breath flows in and out 12:48:04 Changing sensations reveal unchanging awareness. 12:48:16 As you're ready, might you take a moment to inquire into lacking flawed 12:48:28 Feeling your way. 12:48:34 Other perceptions are there just noticing 12:48:41 Notice of any emotions, thoughts, beliefs. 12:48:54 Memories. 12:48:58 Might arise without attaching or detaching, just noticing 12:49:10 And noticing we're lacking and flawed appears in the body. 12:49:18 Perhaps in the heart space. 12:49:25 The hinges of the jaw 12:49:35 The belly or shoulders. 12:49:46 And interweaving You're in a resource of ease and Nocanus 12:49:54 If any sounds, or coming into the room, just noticing, not needing to fix or change anything 12:50:07 Everything dissipating in its own time 12:50:19 It feels okay. Might you perhaps feel into the opposite, perfect and whole, or whatever words resonate for you 12:50:37 Perhaps being just okay or good enough 12:50:48 And again, if any sounds or perceptions are coming into the room, just noticing 12:51:00 Not needing to fix or change anything 12:51:08 Recognizing everything, dissipates in its own time 12:51:21 As you feel, into perfect and whole, or good enough 12:51:31 Are there any emotions or thoughts. 12:51:41 Beliefs or memory. 12:51:49 ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø attaching or detaching to any of these, just noticing 12:52:06 Noticing were perfect and whole appear in the body 12:52:20 As you're ready, might you go back and forth at your own pace between lacking and flawed and perfect and whole 12:52:37 Without merging them 12:52:44 Just going back and forth. 12:52:55 It feels Okay, Might you hold the feeling of both lacking and flawed and perfect and whole 12:53:11 Whatever your experience is the perfect experience there's no right way or wrong way. 12:53:27 Just noticing any other perceptions arising 12:53:33 Maybe even interweaving your inner resource of peace and ease into this very moment 12:53:50 As you're ready, might you hold both a feeling of lacking and flawed and perfect, and whole at the same time 12:54:03 Holding space for both 12:54:10 Don't merging them just holding space 12:54:20 And then staying with the one offering the most sense of ease 12:54:30 Interweaving that unchanging in a resource which all of these sensations, emotions, thoughts. 12:54:44 Arise on their own 12:54:48 Expand, dissipate back to where they came from. Once they have delivered their message 12:55:11 So we start to transition slowly back into waking life 12:55:18 Any beginning to open the senses back into the room. 12:55:25 Feeling the chair that's been supporting you 12:55:33 Places of warmth or coolness. 12:55:39 All the while allowing this inner resource of ease, and Ocanus 12:55:47 Welcoming messengers of just being 12:55:53 Just being in the world, allowing it to point you to the perfect response. 12:55:58 Moment, moment. 12:56:04 Opening and closing the eyes in your own time. to integrate this experience 12:56:13 Body, finding movement, wiggling toes or fingers releasing their head or body. 12:56:25 Finding movement. I was grateful for taking this time the practice of my rest. 12:56:30 Thanks, everybody. I appreciate that. So will you stand up with me for a moment. 12:56:34 Let's do a little bit of stretching so I love to do all the different positions of the spine. 12:56:38 So let's just go on our tip your toes if that's possible. 12:56:40 So the axial extension feels really good. Oh, especially How do you sit for such a long time? 12:56:45 Okay. and then, if you want, you can cross your legs. 12:56:46 We can do lateral extension reflection. You can release your neck here. 12:56:50 That feels Okay, you can do this seated as well if that's possible. 12:56:53 It's to the other side, and Then you can release the neck too. 12:56:59 Very helpful. Okay, and and then maybe if you wanna make a cactus, you can maybe find around your feet first and then twist it's a drastic spine. 12:57:08 Yeah, and then find the other direction. I wanna do that a couple more times. 12:57:14 That feels okay offering this twist in the body that it likes, and if it's okay with here, we're gonna roll down. 12:57:19 So we're going to offer this section you touch your toes or your thighs, or whatever you can touch perfectly fine. 12:57:29 And then, as you're ready to slowly roll back up and then, if it feels okay, you might even bring your hands to your back and just offer this backbone as the last position, whatever looks Ok, for. 12:57:39 You. Oh, yeah, yeah, that's it. yeah did anybody have anything they wanted to share that might have arisen was the sounds okay. 12:57:50 I was really trying to go over the south into the practice you said you can't fix it? 12:57:57 We can't right. but that's the funny thing though right like we always think I grew up. I should say Well, i'm pretty old, but in meditation it always has to be in a beautiful you know island somewhere with the beautiful 12:58:09 cushion you know like this but actually more and more i'm learning that's not what it's supposed to be. 12:58:14 It's for us to be able to bring it into moments like that right like That's what's really happening in our life moment to moment like. 12:58:22 I was feeling a little bit lacking, and flawed when they were coming in, and I was like, oh, looking around. 12:58:25 You guys were like doing your best at being calm so that's really impressive. 12:58:32 Yeah, i'll be here again next week.
