A podcast produced by le Centre de recherches en éducation franco-ontarienne (CREFO) is on air, featuring conversations with diplomats, researchers and artists alike.
Driven by a desire to learn, the podcast “Quoi de neuf?” (translated as “What’s New?” in English) features a CREFO faculty member who sits down with academics, artists and students to discuss societal issues both big and small. Professor Amal Madibbo is hosting the latest season of the show, now in its fifth year.
Engaging Canadian and global Francophone ethos in her research, Madibbo – an associate professor at the department of social justice education&Բ;– takes on conversations with diverse local and global actors about the Francophonie and its intersection with globalization, decolonization and liberation, diplomacy, feminism, peace, poetics and other art forms, and much more.
The podcast episodes are listened to in over 80 countries across all continents.
